Around the campsite, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature and activities. Choose between peaceful experiences in the outdoors and more adventurous activities — always at your own pace, with the nature and history surrounding Österbybruk as your backdrop.

Experience guided via ferrata climbing in the historic Dannemora Mine. A unique adventure where you climb along fixed cables and ladders in a setting shaped by Swedish mining and ironmaking history. The activity is suitable for both beginners and more experienced climbers, and is always carried out together with a guide.

Several hiking trails and paths start directly from the campsite, leading you through the forest, along the water, and around Österbybruk. The trails are suitable for both short walks and day hikes. There are also MTB trails close to the campsite. Nearby, you’ll also find Florarna Nature Reserve, one of Uppland’s largest continuous wetland areas, known for its rich birdlife and significant natural values. At the campsite, you can rent equipment to explore nature at your own pace. Rent a kayak and paddle through the unique ponds and waterways, a SUP board for a wonderful day on the water, a rowing boat to try your luck at fishing, or a bicycle to explore the surrounding area.
